one long day..
.. had a long horrifying nightmare which began with a girl being mutilated and the rest was all Resident-Evil ..
.. woke up late ..
.. reported to work late ..
.. dealt with several lcds whose system crashed overnight ..
.. endured blames from hospital staff for all that the company promised yet failed to deliver..
.. tried to buy a cup of milo from the vending machine, but some jerk left a cup in the holder, the cups jammed and the milo spilled all over when the machine was dispensing..
.. tried to get a 2nd cup of ice milo.. it dispensed ice water instead..
.. learnt that my CAP dropped..

hypocritical. pretentious. to tink i'd end up becoming one of them.
all the weary faces i see everyday suggested how the project, despite coming to an end, has brought out the worst in each of us. i guess my short attachment at the hospital has painted a somewhat grim picture of a typical working life. politics, inevitable. cultural shock. you know i always find it amusing how people associate adjectives like "caring" and "dedicated" to the nurses (even the corridors are covered with pictures of the hospital staff, as a tribute to them). But i hang around the wards long enough to learn that they curse and swear like everyone else. the clean image? pretty far from that actually.
