i still din get the technical elective which i was outbidded cos i was busy shopping at vivo and simply forgot bout monitoring bidding status. this woman in-charge from the bioE dept said she'll allocate me the module but a computer-generated email claimed that she's on mc and that "response would be slow". the stupid woman was on mc last yr as well went i sought her for help with bidding issues @.@ and round 1 is already over!! so am i supposed to wait for her to get well and hopefully allocate me the mod. or should i bid for another mod before there's no vacancies left ?!

Randomies.

Pa went for this walk-over-the-fire thing at the Temple last night and became one of the 19 people whose legs were badly burnt. He can't realli walk properly but i guess it wasn't very severe, at least not as bad as it looks. Currently at nuh to get it treated. Hm. i heard my bro reach home at 5am this morning after helping to send some of my uncles to the clinic. hm.. didnt really know what went wrong. T.T

Younger bro's been called to go for Commando selection next tues, which includes a physical fitness test. ya i guess it's not just a myth that the 4th son will be asked to join the commando family. by nature, of cus im worried for him, fearing he may not understand what he's getting himself into and ive doubts on the how they handle the safety aspect, but since he seemed to be interested, i guess i shouldn't object to it. i gave up nagging long ago, realising i may not know what's best for him. so yup, let nature take its course, like what he said.

Fyp list is out. "Thermosensitive hydrogels for controlled drug delivery" oh well, i guess it's what i wanted - something manageable and low chance of screwing it up badly.^^

i realised lately ive been talking much bout what happens after graduation to some of my friends. I realised my future career will be a major part of my life, i guess i really want something that i like. some people say it's good that i finally know that i want to achieve but to me, im totally lost. Knowing that i don't want to end up in the Engineering field, knowing that i want a web/graphic design-career but i just don't know where to begin - whether i should go for courses in this area and at least attain some qualifications or should i get a random job and take night classes. for someone who's pretty down-to-earth, i foresee myself being very lost when after graduation, im "supposed" to be looking a job like everyone else, but instead i may end up studying some more, to chase for some far-fetched dream. I guess i need assurances if not i'd feel insecure. ha, and im lazy, if i dream big and do nothing, i guess im just a day-dreamer lol. oh well^^

The bioengine department never fails to disappoint me. After looking through the cors archives, i just realised from the list of 30-plus technical elective modules, 2/3 of them were not offered throughout the entire academic year. To qualify for an area of specialization, we have to take at least 16 mcs of modules within that specified area. There's 3 areas of focus - Tissue Engineering, Biomechanics & Biomedical Electronics. From last year records, they offered a total of 15 mcs for Tissue Egineering & 12 mcs for Biomechanics (so there's no way you can qualify to specialize in these areas) , so are we to count ourselves unlucky if we chose these areas of focus in sem 1 and in the last sem realise that there's not enough modules offered to top it up to 16 mcs? i hope i missed something if not the system is just screwed up.

woots. tiring day but i guess it's quite fun in the sense that you get to sample food products that are yet released into the market. lol. lik this double-chocolate-crusted ice cream. oh there's this soon-to-be-launched softdrink called Naughty (something)... and they used sleazy night gowns and suggestive posters for their booth haha boost vitality i guess .

kawaii kawaii. haha some of the online-game guys complimented us on our cute packaging and proposed a jointed promotion^^

hee, jus by looking at this 3 colours. u should noe which convenience store im talking bout.lol towards the end der's this mass food trading and people are jus exchanging or giving out their food stuff haha

spent the evening preparing the booth at suntec for the event tml. it's like a "foodfair" by the suppliers and it's exclusive to the managers of the convenience store. photo taking is strictly prohibited but we managed to secretly take one.. ok., it's not tt impressive and still looks pretty empty..considering it's our first attempt and we got everything we cud from Daiso, i guess it's not too bad. lol.. but a far cry compared to the booths set up by RedBull and F&N..
yet another poster.. im a poster-generator lol
tml i'l be cutting bread and serving people -_-..

it's quite daunting actually, when i realised im the last few still studying in school. a feeling of being left behind. witnessed a couple of graduations lately, i have always been thinking what it meant for them. but i never really asked myself, what their graduations meant to me. when i was still in yr 2, i told myself there's still 2yrs to enjoy. the following year i assured myself there der's still a yr with most of my friends around. And now, when it's time for me to choose my fyp, i suddenly feel so lost. i've no idea where i could get that strength to complete my final year. maybi cos it's holidays, iv been thinking alot lately.

when was the last time you actually wished you were still a kid. And innocence was the reason why you could the happiest being in the world.

photos sure brought back memories.

before things changed. before they spun out of control. before we focused on our differences. before conflict of interests. before we chose to embark on our own journeys. we were like kids.
